I attended the BMES 2018 annual conference in Atlanta as a student poster presenter. I presented a poster on my research regarding the DREAM project and the correlation analysis I performed on EMG and VO2. I attended the event with three other lab mates, one of which presented a separate poster on the cloud server packet optimization portion of the same project
Considering this was my first conference I presented at, I learned a lot attending. They had several seminars that were geared towards networking. I got insights into what type of industry experience employers are seeking. Overall, it was a positive experience.
